What age range is Cubie suitable for?
Cubie has been designed for children in reception, year one and year two. However, we know children work at different paces therefore children in year three or four who need extra support will benefit from the programme. Likewise, children who have not started reception but have shown ability in maths will benefit from a head start.
How long does each Cubie level last?
Each Cubie level runs for 12 months; starting in September and running until the end of August. You will receive 12 boxes, so the programme runs through the school term and during the holidays. Each box provides enough for 10 to 15 minutes of Maths each week day.
What if I picked the wrong level for my child?
It can be tricky to have a full understanding of where your child is academically particularly compared to the national curriculum. If you find that your child is finding their level too hard or too easy they can change without any problem just let us know and we will change the level so your next box comes with the correct level.
When are they delivered?
The boxes are delivered in the last week of the preceding month ready to start on the first of the month.
Do I have to pay for postage?
No. All postage is free of charge regardless of which subscription option you pick.
How many boxes in a year?
The boxes run with the academic year (September to August) you will receive a box a month so 12 in total.
Where do you ship to?
Currently we offer free shipping to the UK. If you live outside the UK, please contact us directly to arrange direct shipping. We are happy to send Cubie anywhere it is wanted.
I haven't received my box yet, what should I do?
If you have not received the box by the first of each month, please let us know and we will get a replacement box shipped out to you next day delivery at no extra cost.
My box is damaged/ missing a piece. What should I do?
If you have received the box but it is damaged or missing an element, please let us know and we will get a replacement box shipped out to you next day delivery at no extra cost.
Do you run special offers, such as sibling discounts?
We run a range of different offers throughout the year, so keep your eyes peeled to take advantage of new offers as they come up.
Can I buy the box as a gift?
Of course! We understand that extended family, friends or neighbours are keen to help with a child’s education. For this reason, Cubie can be bought as a gift either as a one of payment or set up as a monthly payment.
Are your products recyclable?
All our products are recyclable. The booklets and posters and postcards are printed on recycled paper. The boxes are made from a mix of recycled and FSC sourced cardboard.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You are able to cancel your subscription if you are not completely happy with Cubie. It would be great to hear from you and possibly see if there is anything we can do to find a more suitable level for your child.
Do we need to have any maths equipment?
No. We have designed Cubie so that everything you need will be provided. You may receive rulers, counters or dice at different points during the programme, depending when they are needed.
